Installation Guide

Follow these simple steps to install AI Commander and start controlling AI from your mobile device.

🧩 Chrome Extension Installation

Download the Extension

Download the AI Commander Chrome extension package.

Note: The extension will download as a ZIP file. Extract it to a folder on your computer.

Open Chrome Extensions

Open Google Chrome and navigate to the Extensions page.

Or go to Chrome menu → More tools → Extensions

Enable Developer Mode

In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle on "Developer mode".

Load the Extension

Click "Load unpacked" and select the extracted AI Commander extension folder.

Important: Select the folder that contains the manifest.json file.

Pin the Extension

Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome and pin AI Commander for easy access.

Same Network Connection

Ensure both your mobile device and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network for optimal performance.

Launch Mobile App

Open the AI Commander app on your mobile device and follow the onboarding process to start your free trial.

Automatic Connection

The app will automatically detect and connect to your Chrome extension. Look for the green indicator in both the app and extension.

🔧 Troubleshooting

Extension Not Loading

  • Make sure you extracted the ZIP file completely
  • Verify Developer Mode is enabled
  • Check that you selected the correct folder with manifest.json
  • Try refreshing the Extensions page

Mobile App Not Connecting

  • Ensure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network
  • Check your firewall settings
  • Try restarting both the app and Chrome browser
  • Verify the extension is enabled and active

Commands Not Working

  • Check that you have remaining trial commands
  • Verify the extension has necessary permissions
  • Try refreshing the webpage you're trying to control
  • Check the console for any error messages
